Dr. Bamidele Olalekan Oseni is the Managing Partner of Caleb Consulting Uganda Ltd. He has over 25 years of Experience in Banking, Fintech, Auditing and Consultancy Services. For 13 years, Oseni has been an Executive Management Staff and Group Bank Representative on the Subsidiary Banking Board of Directors. He was formerly the Group General/Chief Risk Officer at I & M Bank Group and Chief Credit Officer at UBA Africa, which covers 18 African countries.

Dele is a Pan-African Business Leader, as attested to AFSIC – Investing in Africa (one of Africa’s most important investor events attended by the biggest African investors and leading Regional and National Trade and Investment Promotion Agencies). In 2013, he got involved in setting up Ecobank South Sudan. He also played a significant role in the Merging and Acquisitions of Banks (2006-2007) and was instrumental in the turnaround of the loss-making banks into Profitable entities in East and West Africa (2003-2005, 2009-2012), assisting them with Strategy & Business Development and creating a niche market for Banks and Fintech firms in South and Uganda respectively (2020-2023).
Furthermore, he has provided risk and business leadership to financial institutions, fintech companies, oil and gas, power, and manufacturing firms across Africa. He has also supported them in designing and implementing a robust enterprise risk management framework and business continuity and recovery plan.
Based on the successful execution and cascading of the strategies in the financial institutions he has worked in, he can transform a business from a loss-making firm to a profitable organisation.
Dele is a fellow of several international Institutes, such as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria, the Institute of Management Specialists UK, and the Institute of Credit Administration of Nigeria. He is also a certified Risk Manager by KPMG Sweden and a Certified Management Consultant of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes at ICMCI, Netherlands. He holds a B. Agric from Obafemi Awolowo University (Second Class Upper Division), a Master of Arts in Economics from Kampala International University, Uganda and two honorary doctorate degrees. He is also an author, trainer and speaker at International Conferences, such as AFSIC London, Lead event and Seamless East Africa.
